The book is on the shelf, just like always. "How to become a Warceror, or die trying". Someone must have thought it's funny. It's not. Dying is a part of being a Warceror. But you have to admit, this book makes the pain of death a lot less common experience. That's always something.

Developing your character is key to the success in the game. Tactical skill alone won't win you fights, if your virtual avatar cannot cast the best spells, or can be wiped out with a single blast. Let's take a look at the parameters of your character.
The most important indicator of your progress is your Lifeforce. It goes up when you win, and drops when you lose, yet it can never go down below 1000. Lifeforce determines both physical and mental health. Your character starts with 50 physical and mental health. You gain 1 point of physical health for each 10 Lifeforce points, and 1 mental health point for each 5 Lifeforce points. The higher your physical and mental health, the harder you are to kill. Mental health is also needed to cast spells.
The second indicator of progress is Gold. You need Gold to buy new spell components and items. Even though you start knowing some spell components, you will have to learn the more powerful ones. This will allow you to cast better spells. Items can affect multiple things - your physical and mental health, give you resistance to damage, make your spells stronger or even hold spells of they're own. Remember - make money, and spent it wisely.
